The martyr Ahmed Ismail

Ahmed was one of the most proactive and resilient individuals in Gaza. He was a supporter and thinker for the Gaza Insider team, a group of youth aimed at aiding the weak and marginalized in Gaza. He constantly sought and actively worked to reach out to this segment of people, always meeting them with his smile and laughter.

On December 31, 2023, Ahmed was attempting to deliver drinking water to his family from the roof of their house in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the midst of the Gaza Strip. However, the roof of the house was shelled by an Israeli tank shell, leading to his martyrdom.

The martyrdom of Ahmed is a tragic loss, and we in the Martyrs of Gaza team are committed to speaking about Ahmed and our martyrs, conveying their stories to the world.

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
