Martyr Ahmed Saleem Abu Shamla.
He was known for his cheerful face and constant smile. He was a devoted reciter and memorizer of the Quran, with a beautiful and melodious voice. He graduated from the nursing program at Al-Azhar University, and since the beginning of the aggression, he never left the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, serving the wounded and assisting them.
On December 25, 2023, after the massacre in Al-Maghazi, Ahmed went out to pray for the martyrs of the massacre. On his way back, he was targeted by Israeli occupation shelling and martyred, joining his father, martyr Salem, who ascended in 2008.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
