Amal and Ayloul Salem… the cheerful twins.
Two girls who loved life, enchanted those around them with their beautiful smiles. Amal and Ayloul had dreams and a future ahead, but Israeli occupation killed their dreams.
Their father, mother, grandfather, family patriarch Abu Basel, our aunt with her daughter and granddaughters, my aunt with her children and grandchildren, uncles with their sons and daughters, and approximately 140 displaced individuals from the Salem family, all martyred.
They, along with 140 others from their family, were martyred in an Israeli massacre, as their home was targeted in an airstrike on December 19, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
