“The Israeli occupation killed his dreams and aspirations”
The martyr, Amer Abu Asi.
Amer was a highly ambitious young man who had a great love for reading books. He opened his own grocery store several years ago and developed it into a successful business, contributing to the creation of a well-known brand. In March of last year, he opened another branch, showcasing his dedication and professionalism in his profession.
The joy and happiness of the project’s success did not satisfy him. He had gotten married just a year ago. His friend, Shukri Falafel, who shared with us, says, “I was responsible for the new branch, and I can attest that he was not just a manager, but he was a brother, a friend, and a close companion… Imagine your boss at work hosting you for regular gatherings and feasts, sitting with you, accompanying you.”
Amer had plans to travel and visit Egypt in November to expand his business and become an agent for several international companies. However, the Israeli occupation killed his dreams and aspirations.
He was martyred after his store was targeted in an Israeli airstrike on Tal Al-Hawa Towers in western Gaza. His dreams and life turned into rubble.
