Areej Sabhi Shihab,
She was anticipating the arrival of her second child. She, along with her sole child and the unborn fetus, fell victim to the aggression of the Israeli forces. In the same airstrike, Israel also claimed the lives of the children of Areej’s sister, Amr and Mohammed, alongside other children in the same Israeli air strike .
She was martyred by Israeli airstrike in her home on 21 November 2023
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
