An innocent child who loved life and had many dreams. She adored pets and enjoyed drawing. Moments before her martyrdom, she was playing with her sister and cousins. Batoul narrowly escaped certain death after an Israeli airstrike hit their home in the Shati refugee camp. She was rescued from under the rubble.
Batoul was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the home where her family sought refuge for safety in the Qarara area in the midst of Gaza Strip on October 25, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
