The martyr,Bilal Abu Samaan

Bilal was extremely cheerful, playful, kind-hearted, and had a pleasant way of interacting with others.He was the coach of the Palestinian national athletics team and a star among the sports community. Additionally, he worked as a physical education teacher at the American school in the Gaza Strip

Bilal did not stay at home during the ongoing onslaught in Gaza; instead, he went to assist medical teams in rescuing the martyrs and the trapped from under the rubble. The tragedy that occurred with the martyr Bilal was that he was martyred while engaged in this humanitarian work, assisting the medical teams during the war.

On the 17th of December 2023, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Khan Yunis. Bilal, as was his habit, went to help the wounded, the injured, and the martyrs at the site of the bombing.However, the Israeli warplanes bombed the house again while they were there,leading to his martyrdom. He left behind his children, Hussam and Yousef, who became orphans after his loss

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
