Bisan Oweidah
Martyr DateNovember 22, 2023
“She was, and will never be, just a number!”
The martyr Bisan Oweidah.
A sweet and carefree girl, always laughing. They always said she was the life of the place, loving life and spreading love to everyone she met. Bisan graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Media. She was the twin of her brother Basel; their spirits intertwined. She was martyred, leaving him in deep sorrow along with their mother and siblings.
She was the only daughter among four younger brothers. She was married and had a daughter named “Mais.”
Her friend, Angham Shaat, says: “We studied together in college and worked on our graduation project together, me, her, and Salwa. She was always telling us, ‘Search and find sources, and I’ll write on the computer to make it look nice.’ She was pampered wherever she went. She always dreamed of having a comfortable office job because she deserved to be pampered and comfortable.”
She and her daughter, along with all members of her family, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on their home on November 22, 2023.
