Martyr: Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahhar

The martyr, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahhar.

He studied medicine at the Islamic University and worked in several places, including Médecins Sans Frontières, the Ministry of Health, UNRWA, and also in digital marketing. Additionally, he worked at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the pediatric department. He was extremely helpful, assisting his colleagues, and everyone loved working with him. He was polite and deeply passionate about his work.

Ahmed got engaged to his dream girl, Dr. Asil Al-Ashqar, on September 17, 2023, and they were scheduled to get married after the war.

During the war in Gaza, he was dedicated to working between Al-Awda Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital. He vowed not to leave North Gaza and remained committed to his work.

Ahmed was martyred in an Israeli airstrike directly targeting Al-Awda Hospital while he was on duty on November 21, 2023.

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
