Dr. Dina Al Hajj

Martyr Dr. Dina Al-Hajj, 29 years old,

She had a passion for traveling and exploring cultures worldwide. This experience became the starting point for her professional life in the World Health Organization, where she worked, driven by her belief in serving the community and providing people with hope and opportunities.

Described by her colleague “Richard Bieberkon”, the representative of the World Health Organization in Palestine, as a ‘wonderful person with a bright smile, cheerful, and positive. Her work was extremely important, and she was requested to take on more responsibilities to support the Gaza sub-office and the team.

“Everything I used to watch and hear about on TV, the computer, or my mobile phone and dream about… today has become a tangible reality before my eyes.’ With these words, Dina Al-Hajj described her experience in international exchange in 2019.”

She was always at the peak of her professional advancement and building a beautiful family with her husband, Mohammed. However, her work at the World Health Organization did not safeguard her. On November 21, 2023, Dima, her husband, their infant, her brother, and her parents’ grandchildren were martyred in their parents’ home due to an Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
