Dr. Duaa Shammout, she have a beautiful smile, light-hearted.Her husband Ahmed al-Shatat, mourning her, ‘My wife, the light and gentle-hearted, my friend, a martyr,reunited with our daughter Zaina.Ya Allah, ease my heart, grant me patience until we meet in paradise, my beloveds.’
Duaa and her daughter Zaina were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on their home in Gaza in October 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
