The martyr: Dr. Omar Frwaneh
Dr. Omar was well-known in the Gaza Strip, serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medicine from Britain and dedicated over 30 years of service to the Palestinian people in Gaza. He also served as the director of Dar Al-Hikmah Clinic in the center of Gaza .City He was martyred along with his wife and 13 members of his children and grandchildren by an Israeli airstrike on 15/10/2023
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
