The Twin Martyrs
Fathi Abu Saada and Iman Abu Saada, 21 years old…
Their souls were intertwined, and they ascended as martyrs together, along with their beautiful family, in a bombardment of a residential block in Al-Fakhoura.
Fathi, the calm, gentle, intelligent young man, dedicated to his studies and respectful to his mother and sisters. The last words he uttered were, “Alhamdulillah… May Allah have mercy on us… Pray for us.”
Iman, a kind-hearted girl who loved life, worked diligently in her studies and as a freelance marketer in the field of digital marketing. She possessed a leadership personality and a beloved positive energy that touched everyone who knew her. Her last words were, “Blessed are the martyrs. I wish to see myself as a martyr while wrapped in a shroud.”
They had many dreams, planning with their mother, who was happy to have three engineers, Fathi and his sisters Hadeel and Israa, to open an engineering office. But their dream remained unfulfilled!
On October 14, 2023, they were martyred along with 70 others at the hands of the Israeli occupation, joining their father, the martyr Mufid Abu Saada, who was also martyred in the same place in the Fakhoura massacre in 2009.
