The martyr, Ms. Ghada Abu Haya
She held a Master’s degree in Science Teaching Methods and Curriculum from the Islamic University. Ghada was the principal of Al-Faluja School in northern Gaza Strip. She was an exemplary person, a friend to all her students, and a role model as a teacher and a noble, generous soul.
One of her students wrote, “Dear teacher Ghada, she was my teacher since seventh grade. She was one of the finest science and biology teachers in my life.”
All of this became a memory in an Israeli airstrike on her warm home. Ghada and her family were martyred on October 11th, 2023, leaving a lasting impact of goodness forever.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
