Hamza Abu Al-Sibh and Muhammad Al-Awar

The martyrs Hamza Abu Al-Sibh and Muhammad Al-Awar.

Hamza and Muhammad were lawyers and partners in a law firm, friends for more than 13 years. They were always together, sharing common friends and acquaintances.

Hamza was embracing life; his colleagues described him as a ‘whirlwind,’ always active and dynamic. He was a dreamer, always dreaming of traveling.

On the contrary, Muhammad was completely different. He consistently encouraged his colleagues, correcting their mistakes. He brought joy and laughter to them when they felt sad.

On the night of November 3, 2023, a Friday, they were bombed by Israeli planes. Muhammad was at Hamza’s house, and they turned into fragments. They were companions in this world, and Allah willed them to be companions in the hereafter. They were buried together in the same grave.
