Hamza Al Jazar

Martyr Hamza Al Jazar was born in Rafah in 1999 into a middle-income family. He was married and a father to a child named ‘Ahmed.’ He excelled in the English language and completed his high school studies with distinction, securing his place at Al-Azhar University, specializing in linguistics.

He embarked on his professional life, working in translation and teaching English in all its branches. Excelling in his university studies, he aimed to fulfill his dreams by pursuing a diploma in English language education.

Hamza suffered from health issues affecting his body and mental well-being before the onset of the war. He consulted a doctor in Khan Younis and despite being diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery, he kept this matter secret.

On October 23, 2023, during the war, Hamza realized the value of life and regained his vigor and strength. He went for a quick visit to check on his friend. However, in a tragic moment, Israeli occupation aircraft bombed his friend’s house, leading to the martyrdom of both him and his friend Fadi Abu Salimah, along with Fadi’s family and other friends.
