The martyr journalist Hisham Al-Nawajha
The wife of the martyr Hisham says that on 10/10/2023, Hisham woke up and went to his work to convey the reality of the massacre happening in Gaza, taking his clothes with him because he would be staying outside the house for a long time. When he left the house, he came back again, and his wife asked him - as she says - “What’s wrong?” He said, “I don’t know what will happen to me, but I want to bid you farewell.” He hugged the children, embraced me, said, “Forgive me,” and left without returning home because Israeli warplanes targeted the place where he was documenting events, thus ending his journalistic career on 10/10/2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
