Martyr: Jamal Zaqout

Martyr Jamal Zaqout:

“Jamal went with his father to their house to get some supplies after everything had run out in the city.

His son stepped out of the car to enter the house when he was struck by a large shell in his back, cutting him into pieces. His father got out of the car to gather his son’s remains in a nylon bag. Then, a second shell hit, but he survived.

The father lives in shock, seeing the flesh of his scattered son, unable to speak, blaming himself for the task of retrieving the supplies from the house.

Jamal was martyred in an Israeli artillery bombardment on Gaza on November 11, 2023.

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
