Janan, a 7-year-old girl, the niece of Wafa, was a beautiful child with the most radiant smile.
“She was one of the top students in her school and had memorized a portion of the Quran. She used to ask about what is in paradise, and now she has departed to see paradise and become a bird in it.”
Janan was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on December 31, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
