Janna Muhammad Wafi, 8 years old, Dina Muhammad Wafi, 3 and a half years old.
Their father wrote: “My beloved daughters, Janna and Dina, your absence has caused me immense pain. It was still early, but I do not object to the will of God. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God). I will continue to talk about you, share your pictures and videos that I have kept. We will never forget you.”
On December 31, 2023,
Janna and Dina were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on their grandfather’s house.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
