Journalist Adel Zaarab was known for his dedication and effort in his journalistic work. He was always the first to venture into the field to document the Israeli occupation’s crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. This is how Israel killed Adel: a hardworking journalist in Gaza, committed to his work, deliberately targeted by Israel to conceal the reality of what was happening, which tragically unfolded with Adel and his family.

Adel’s journalist friends mentioned that moments before his martyrdom, he informed his fellow journalists that Israel had already killed 95 journalists in Gaza since the beginning of the genocide. Shortly after, Adel became the journalist number 96 among those killed by Israel in Gaza, after being targeted along with eight members of his family on December 18, 2023.
