Khalid and Salah were twins who loved each other and were as close as friends. They did almost everything together. For example, they used to work out in the gym together and enjoyed arguing with others who went to the gym about who had more muscles, saying, “Wait until summer, and you’ll see our muscles.”
Khalid and Salah tried to migrate once. They went to Turkey, but luck was not on their side, so they returned to continue their search for work in Gaza without any success, until they were ambushed by occupation aircraft, along with their family at their home on October 11, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
