The martyr child, Khalid Jaber, 7 years old…
Khalid was the only child in his family, born after multiple attempts by his mother to conceive. After five years of trying, Khalid came into the world along with his twin brother, Adam, who passed away hours after birth.
He was a sweet child, loved and cared for by everyone, active, very intelligent, and excelling in his studies. His mother, Amal, says, “Khalid remained missing under the rubble of the house, and I had hoped he would stay alive. My beloved went away with his grandfather, uncle, and other children.”
Khalid was martyred in an Israeli bombardment on a house in Rafah in October 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
