The Martyr Khalil Soussi,
Khalil was a brave and ambitious young man who had only one year left until his graduation from university. Their shop was bombed during the 2021 aggression, but they rebuilt it and reopened it. He was a beloved and very intelligent merchant.
His friend Hazem says about him, “Khalil was loved by everyone who saw him. He was a great young man, the best among us, light-hearted and light-spirited. He was the sweetest person in the country. Khalil is not just a name, he is a whole planet.”
On December 1, 2023, Israel killed Khalil along with more than 15 members of his family, including his parents and siblings.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
