Martyr Lama Salim Al-Naffar
Martyr Lama was the daughter of the great poet Salim Al-Naffar. Lama was a determined girl striving to take responsibility for herself through her own efforts. She completed her university studies and worked as a secretary at a dental clinic in Gaza. She was someone who liked to take control of her life and shoulder her responsibilities amidst the challenging life in Gaza.
Lama was martyred in an Israeli shelling along with her family on 7/12/2023 after their home in Gaza was targeted in an Israeli attack, thus concluding Lamia’s story of struggle in this life
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
