Martyr Luay Al-Zuhairi

Martyr Luay was striving to complete his studies in nursing and was on the verge of graduating from the university. He was known as the first member of his family to attend university, and his family had high hopes, proud of him and eagerly awaiting his graduation.

On his birthday, his mother wrote him a message:

“My beloved Luay, happy birthday, and I pray to God that you remain the greatest blessing in my life on this occasion. I ask God to grant you all the best. Today marks the most beautiful memory, the birthday of my eldest son, whom I dreamed of throughout my life and obtained, by God’s grace. Every year, you’re well, my dear, the one I loved even before your birth.

Luay was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on 20/10/2023 while carrying out his duty in medical assistance at one of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
