“O orphaned olive tree, forgive me… I did not guard you well, but I will never reconcile with the woodcutters.”
Lubna Al-Ajrami, a mother of two, held a master’s degree in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
After the Israeli occupation deceived civilians in Gaza by instructing them to go to the south of the Gaza Strip, claiming it was a safe place, Lubna moved there with her family. On the eighth day of the Israeli aggression, on October 15, Lubna, along with 13 members of her family, including her daughter Shaima Al-Ajrami, was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza in Deir al-Balah.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
