The Martyr Musician: Lubna Elian.
Lubna, at the age of 14, was a talented musician, excelling in her music studies at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Gaza. She demonstrated her skill in playing the violin. She dreamed of becoming a world-renowned musical artist, playing the violin, and representing Palestine.
On 21 November 2023, the musician Lubna, along with 45 members of her family, including her parents and siblings, was martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the place where they were staying
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
