On Saturday (October 14th), the traces of the girls Lujain, Lana, and Mays Khalid Al-Sissi disappeared on Hameed Street in the Beach Refugee Camp, west of Gaza, after the horrific massacre committed by Israel there.
Since then, the family has exhausted all means to search for the three girls, within the bombing site, the surrounding streets, and within the corridors of Al-Shifa Medical Center. They found no trace, failing to extinguish the fire burning in their mother’s heart.
In the end, they found one of them martyred, while the other two sisters remained under the rubble until this moment. They were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on their home on October 14, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
