The martyr Mahmoud Shhada

He loved pets, cared for them, and looked after them. He was an ambitious young man who cherished life and had many dreams.

His brother said in his eulogy: “In the presence of departure, God has chosen from my family, my brother, my beloved, and the apple of my eye. We named him Mahmoud, and he departed as Mahmood, raised and entrusted to me, embraced by me. He resembled me in my youth, dear to my heart, pure, shy, and dutiful. I leaned on him like a pillar. He was injured at the beginning of the aggression in his hand, and today he departed to the highest realms, entering the world of eternity. May God have mercy on my brother and beloved Mahmoud and heal those from my family who were injured, and may God make him an intercessor for us in the Hereafter.”

He was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza on December 3, 2023.
