Maram’s words to her young martyr daughter, Yumna, touched our hearts in the previous post when Maram was recovering from her injuries in the hospital. Maram was a young woman filled with joy, working as an accountant, and planning for a happy family life with her small family.
“However, on October 28, 2023, during the internet and communication blackout in Gaza, Maram joined her daughter Yumna in martyrdom, and her husband Omar was injured due to the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
