Mashal, 26 years old, from Jabalia refugee camp, was married and a father of one child. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Legal Practice at Palestine University. He was a brave and beloved young man, regarded by everyone as a true gentleman in every sense, full of dreams, hope, and enthusiasm.

Mashal’s family first encountered tragedy during the Jabalia massacre, where his sister Jeneen and her husband were killed. The rest of the family suffered injuries, forcing them to seek refuge in another home. Unfortunately, this new shelter was also targeted, resulting in the death of his sister, Zakia.

They moved to the Indonesian hospital, witnessing death up close. Later, they left and sought shelter at their uncle’s house in Daraj neighborhood in Gaza. After a warning from the Red Cross to evacuate, they sought refuge in Daraj School.

Daraj School was Mashal’s last refuge on Friday, December 15, 2023, as it was targeted by the occupation forces, resulting in the martyrdom of Mashal and twenty others.
