Martyr: Mohammed and Ahmed Abu Samra

The twin brothers Mohammed and Ahmed Abu Samra.

Mohammed was a brave and determined young man. He was studying law and excelled in the field of sports journalism. He worked with the Sharek Foundation and was also pursuing a doctoral degree. He was a shining and ambitious individual.

Ahmed, the beautiful twin, was equally hardworking. He volunteered in various organizations and contributed to community service.

On November 18, 2023, Ahmed was martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted Tal Al-Zaatar School in Beit Lahia. Mohammed survived that tragic incident.

A month later, on December 11, 2023, Mohammed was heading towards Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip when an Israeli sniper ended his life, so he could join his twin brother Ahmed.

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
