Mohammed Awad, aged 27, graduated in 2019 from the Islamic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, excelling and earning honors. Post-graduation, he worked as an assistant lecturer at the Engineering College due to his academic excellence. Unfortunately, Mohammed was killed in an Israeli shelling in western Khan Yunis. His young son, who is a year and a half old, will now grow up without his father. With this loss, our children lose a fundamental figure in life, the role of a father turned into a martyr.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
