Martyr Mohammed Sami Qarieqaa, known as ‘Abu Sami,’
He was an ambitious dreamer; his dreams transcended the blockade. Always viewing the world differently, he had a message he sought to convey. He was the cornerstone of the Violet team.
He supported his friends, always trying to uplift their spirits. He loved children, and his mission was always to bring joy to them. He remained playing with the children in the hospital until the last moment.
On October 17, 2023, Mohammed Sami was martyred along with many children he might have been singing with during an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Maamalani Hospital.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
