Mohammed Shakir Safi, A physical education teacher in a government school in the southern Gaza Strip. One of his students said, “He was a friend to us, not just a teacher, a kind friend and beloved by everyone. He used to check on us all the time, and he even insisted on meeting me at the beginning of the war to make sure I was safe.” Professor Mohammed Shakir was martyred in an Israeli bombardment on 15/11/2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
