The martyr child, Nahla Alaa Abu Mahsen.
Nahla, a three-year-old girl, loved a doll her grandfather had bought for her and was known for her great affection for the traditional hoop game.
She was martyred along with several family members after an Israeli airstrike targeted their home on December 12, 2023. Her mother was injured in the attack.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
