Nidal Mahmoud Hamouda.

Nidal Mahmoud Hamouda was a determined young man who worked tirelessly in various jobs to support himself, his wife, and his children. He became well-known for selling watermelons in the Beit Lahia Square and was highly regarded in his hometown for his kind heart and constant assistance to others. Nidal, the hardworking young man, always used to say, “I will work in anything so that my children will always be proud of me.”

On November 14, 2023, Nidal was martyred in the Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of the Abu Hussein School in northern Gaza. He left behind his children, who are now struggling to carry on without him after his pure soul was taken by the artillery of the occupation.

إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
