My name is Nour Hajjaj..

I was a writer. I authored and published two novels in several countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iraq. I was hardworking. For instance, I received a scholarship to study in India and actually traveled there for my studies. However, the pain of being away from my family was significant for me, and I couldn’t bear it. So, I returned to my family in Gaza and decided to continue my career in education. During this genocide in Gaza, I stayed with my mother and sister in our home. We refused to evacuate. However, the Israeli army also rejected our stay at the house. Consequently, their warplanes bombed us, causing my injury.

I was transferred to the Baptist Hospital, where medical facilities were insufficient to save my life, leading to my martyrdom on the morning following the Israeli bombing on 02/12/2023.
