Children around the world are known for their innocence, and the children of Gaza are also known for their laughter. Rasha, a girl from Gaza, was known for her beautiful, ever-present smile.
On December 1, 2023, Rasha was martyred in an Israeli bombardment. Only her father remained alive in her family. After her martyrdom, Israel deprived Rasha’s family of her presence, extinguishing the joy that once filled their home when they brought her into the world.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
