The martyr Rose Rashad Shamlakh.
Rose is a child like all the children of the world, enveloped in innocence that found no place in the face of the silent world about the genocide happening in Gaza. She was three and a half years old, the closest to her mother’s heart among her siblings. Like all the child martyrs of Gaza, Rose was living through an inappropriate period of war for an innocent child like her.
She was martyred by an Israeli airstrike with her father on December 6, 2023.
إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.
