Um Mazen was older than Israel itself.

Um Mazen Jwifeel was born in 1946.

From GazaMartyr herself: My grandma, Um Mazen was older than Israel itself. She was my heart When we went to Grandma during the war, she would hold my hand and say, ‘Don’t be afraid I swear everything will go back to how it was before

heart who remembered all her grandchildren’s

birthday dates. Taking care of every small and

big detail, she gave us meaning to the holidays and Eid”

Words can’t describe you, Grandma. After you left happiness and blessings left with you. Grandma you were our sunshine, and after you, darkness filled our homes. May you rest in peace my beloved.

Um Mazen was martyred when Her house in Central Gaza was bombed on 09 December 2023 by an unjust missile in a cowardly attack, killing her along with three cousins.
